U3S This is my implementation of the QRP Labs Ultimate3S QRSS/WSPR kit. My U3S is installed in the official QRP Labs case. I am using the relay-switched LPF kit for 6-band operation, and QRP Labs QLG1 GPS receiver module.

The system consists of the following blocks:

1) QLG1 GPS receiver kit from QRP Labs

2) QRP Labs Ultimate3S QRSS/WSPR TX kit (including relay-switched LPF kit and 6 LPF kits for 6 band operation

3) Simple RF Power meter project

4) 13.8V 5A Switched Mode power supply

5) Simple 5V regulator based on the 7805 chip (TO220 package).

The RF output is connected to a 30m length of RG58 coax. At the far end, the coax connects to a balun at the centre of a simple 30m wire dipole (no tuners etc). No attempt has been made to trim the dipole for proper resonance, so this system is far from perfect. Nevertheless it works well. I use it on bands from 160m to 10m even though the dipole is for 30m. Obviously the other bands work less well than 30m.
